COVID-19 Updates

We remain vigilant of the rapidly changing situation regarding COVID-19 and prioritize everyone’s safety with our increased measures and protocols. California Governor Gavin Newsom recently issued a “Safer at Home” order ((LA County – Safer at Home Directive, section 13, paragraph (n))), requiring that all non-essential businesses cease operations.

Order exemptions include essential businesses that are vital to support infrastructure at the city, state, or federal level. The order is also exempted for businesses that supply essentials to other essential businesses to maintain their supply and operations. As a manufacturer of cutting tools, our products supply the medical, agricultural, and military/defense industries with items critical to their operation. Scientific Cutting Tools, Inc. is therefore exempt from the Safer at Home order and will remain open for business.
