Tool Modification Services

We can modify many standard tools with a fast turnaround.

Common modifications include:

  • Neck back thread mills for greater depth of cut

  • Add shank flat or Weldon flat to thread mill

  • Add coolant channels to thread mill

  • Resharpen and recoat

  • Reduce spot face diameter of shank diameter on port tools

  • Reduce length of reamer pilot (“J” length) on port tools

  • Increase single point tool reach (“B” length)

  • Modify groove width on groove tools

  • Add radius to boring bar
